The Macie Grace Foundation is driven by a single goal; to Make Every Day a Safe Day! We are committed to advocating and increasing playground safety awareness to create and maintain a happy, fun, and safe outdoor environment.

As our new social media Volunteer, you will work closely with our board to help boost playground safety awareness through various social media platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate, create and post content for the Macie Grace Foundation’s (MGF) social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube. (Estimated average weekly posts 3, special events such as Playground Safety Week)

• Work with the MGF Board about content development, topics, and opportunities

• Manage keywords and search engine optimization (SEO), track statistics and analytics.

• Manage online social media messaging and conversations. Relaying messages and information needed to board members.

• Plan and schedule social media content for long and short-term objectives.

• Help develop visual content for images, videos, messaging and more.

• Research and recommend trends, social channels, platforms, and influencers.

 

Skills/Qualifications

• Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools.

• Proficiency with video and photo editing tools and digital media formats

• Ability to understand historical, current, and future digital content trends.

• Strong language and communication skills, including proof and editing

• Self-starter with ability to monitor, organize and manage multiple tasks

• Openness and willingness to learn and share
